So I quite working. I have been so overwhelmed with everything, mainly school, but house and kids too that it was just too much and something had to go. School is awesome but so extremely busy, 3-4 12+ hour days a week and then I still have to come home and study my little tushy off. Hopefully the health department doesn't condemn my house before the semester is over!
Everyone is doing good. Everyone is healthy. And if we can just make it another 72ish days we get a break for the summer before I begin my last and final semester!!! So excited!!!!!!!!

First week involved, needles and lots of blood
Ok so if you get woosy at the mention of blood, you may want to stop the reading now.
I did my first IV and blood draw yesterday in clinical and well it went ok I guess. I missed the vein of my very good friend going just to the side so my instructor slid it in for me and we were good to go! But I did awesome at the blood draw and was so excited that I got it that I forgot what I was doing and drew a lot, A LOT of blood. It's ok tho-the price of education(as a student nurse anyway). So my friend was the same way and we were taking pictures(i know nurses are a little odd)and so we both had very full vials of blood. Things are back to crazy around our house, dishes are still in the sink from last night, laundry is piled to the ceiling, ect, ect. But everyone is healthy and things are going good.
Some day it will all be back to normal...but till then...we love crazy!

Back to life
So I am not sure how I feel about all this real life stuff. I really really like not having a schedule to keep, children really need one. It's a love/hate thing I suppose. So anyway, we are back in the swing of things. The girls are off to school and I am preparing to start yet another semester(only 2 more to go!)
We had a fun New Years Eve at mom and dad Spencers with Trevor and JoDee and sweet Alyssa! We played minute to win it games and they were hilarious and fun...thanks guys for putting it together. It was nice to relax after a pretty rough day! The car that we borrowed from Bob and Diana decided to not run all of the sudden so Brad spent all day New Years Eve trying to figure out what was wrong and I think we finally figured it out, the fuel pump. So we ordered a new one, and I am driving put-put till it gets here(put-put, for those who aren't in the know, is the geo metro that my parents bought for Trevor in high school and it is indearingly called put-put, cuz that's all it can do sometimes!) I have an amazing family and don't know what I would do without them!!!
This new year is going to be amazing...I can just feel it!!

Here comes Santa Claus!
We had a fabulous Christmas! The kids were thoroughly spoiled and so excited to see what Santa had brought. It was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy family and being together.

We did the annual Christmas Eve dinner and reading of the Christmas Story at G&G Spencers.

Wyatt was not totally into the shepard role this year!

Kids in their new pjs ready for bed and sugar plums to dance in their heads!

And Santa definitely arrived at our house!!

What's up?
I am finally done with school! I did really good again this semester and now have two more to go and I will be ready to take the NCLEX-RN! Can not wait! The semester went really good, so very busy but good! And now I have spent the last two days cleaning my house, doing the laundry, and being with my kids! It's been awesome.
We had the Hyde family Christmas party with the annual visit from Santa last Monday, and the girls performed their Christmas concert at the school on Tuesday. They both did great. Maycee LOVES to sing and she did so good!
Brad is still working tons of hours on the Huntsman Cancer Hospital addition. The girls are so excited for Christmas and Santa to come. And wyatt...is...well...18 months old and letting everyone know! He has started into the "terrible twos", but he is so darn cute, he has a hard time letting anyone stay mad for very long!

Things are good-everyone is mostly healthy, only minor things to deal with. The semester is almost over and once again I am rockin it! I love it, but it is extremely hard!! The kids are so excited for Christmas and I think I will be to once I can think about it. I promise I will update more when I am done...T-14 days!
