FHE Cherry Hill Style

It was our annual Spencer Cherry Hill FHE last night. My little water babies had a blast. The funniest moment was when Em couldn't get anyone to go with her down Cardiac Canyon again. She had asked Jaclyn to go and Jaclyn said no, so she with her dramatic style that she has went over and got on a tube with my mom in the lazy river. When my mom asked what the matter was Em said she was just not in the mood anymore. When asked Why she wasn't "in the mood" she said that Jaclyn had told her no to go on the ride again and that Jaclyn liked Brad(her boyfriend, not my husband, ya we know it's wierd)better than her. Oh dear, what a girl! They had so much fun anyway it was soon forgotten!

Sunday Afternoon

It was the last Sunday that I wasn't going to have to work for a while, so I decided to take some pictures of the kids. I love lazy Sunday afternoons!

Just Keep Swimming, Just keep Swimming...

Emma and Maycee first did swim lessons at the rec center and while they had fun they really didn't learn anything, so...I asked Heather(a good friend, with access to a pool)if she wanted to do some lessons with the girls and she said she'd love to. They have improved sooooo much, it has been awesome! Thanks a million Heather!!!!

Emma's Swimming Party

Emma has begged and begged all summer(maybe even before school got out)that she could invite all her friends to the pool to swim. She had saved up all her allowance money so she could pay for everyone to get in and finally I caved. She invited three of her little neighbor friends and they had so much fun. I on the other hand was dang tired by the time we were done from trying to keep them all within sight.

Family Reunion

It was the Sowell Family reunion, actually the first we've ever had, at Grandpa and Grandma's cabin in Island Park, ID over the 4th. It was so nice to get away and relax in beautiful Island Park. It has been a long time since I've been up there, since Brad and I got married, way too long!

We took the girls to Big Springs to feed the fish, there were only a handful of them at the bridge but they had fun anyway.

We spent lots of time eating yummy, yummy food at Grandpa and Grandma's place, and enjoying one anothers company.

And of course we took the girls to Yellowstone. They saw Firehole falls and Old Faithful and the mud pots. It was a good way to spend the 4th of July!
