Ok so I am totally into the no school thing going on right now. Yesterday I was not so totally into the rain that NEVER LET UP THE ENTIRE DAY!!!!!!! But I did get some scrapbook pictures done and me and the Bubba hung out and played cars and watched(sort of-he's not really into the movie/tv thing) mickey mouse clubhouse. And by about noon we were both going stir crazy! My little incident with the lovely borrowed car left us without a car because of the STUPID rain! (The car incident is a story for another day-a VERY funny story now I might add!) So we were stuck - in the house - all day! So maybe I'm not diggin this life right now as much as I thought...
Both of the girls have fabulous colds, and sound like barking seals when they cough and they have nasty noses and then that makes them cough all that much more. Maycee coughs all the time anyway due to her asthma, which by the way, is doing fabulous. We haven't had an incident in quite a while with either of them(knock on wood!)
So anyway--it's still raining today so I gotta figure out what the heck me and wyatt are going to do! Make some cookies, more scrapbook pages(I'm about 5 years behind!), probably play with cars and "little peoples". And listen to Wyatt stand at the window and cry because he can't go outside...we're praying for sun extra hard around here!!!!

Easter 2011
Ok so I know I am a little late posting this but I just finished finals for the semester and now have time. Whatever am I going to do? Oh ya-I have tons of house and yard work and kids to keep me busy!
For Easter this year we had the traditional Spencer Egg hunt and dinner on Saturday. The kids loved hunting eggs and especially all the candy inside!
On Sunday we went to church and skipped out early to head to Heber and spend some time with Brad's family. We had dinner and the kids rode the wheelers and played in the yard. We definitely don't make it up there enough, its beautiful up there!
Well so I have one semester to go and I will be done. But first I am going to enjoy myself some time in the summer sun with my family, it is well deserved believe me! Till next time...

It was Emma's special day yesterday-her Baptism day! She looked so pretty all in white, just like an angel!
Emma and Grandpa Spencer, who Baptized her.
Emma and Grandpa Hyde, who confirmed her
All the men who stood in the circle for the confirmation, Grandpa Spencer, Grandpa Sowell, Brad, Trevor, Grandpa Hyde, Jon, Tim
Our family!
Then we came back to the house to celebrate Brad's Birthday and Emma's Baptism. Food was yummy and the company was great!

There are 30 candles on that cake, and he blew them all out in one breath! Happy Birthday Brad! We love you so much and are so glad you lead our family! You work so hard to provide for us and we are so greatful!

Another Birthday--it's a busy March around our place
So this time it is Emma Leigh's birthday and--she is 8 years old!!! I can't believe she is eight! I don't feel old enough to have an 8 year old, I guess that's a good thing right?!
So she got to get out of school for lunch and we all headed to Mcdonald's by choice of the birthday girl. She took donuts for her class and G & G Spencer brought her gifts and she opened the ones from mom and dad on her birthday yesterday. We are having a family dinner/party on Sunday for her so she will get more stuff then, and she told me she is scared and hopes that Grandpa's don't remember to give her bday spanks cuz eight is a lot! She is growing up to be such a beautiful girl with legs that go on forever(runway here we come!)(and of course she's gorgeous, she looks just like me!)
In other news, I am kind of caught up with school-thus the posting on the blog! I am so excited about this whole idea-I actually feel like I have time to breath these days. It is an amazing feeling I have to tell you! So excited to get this semester over (39 days left!! Holy cow-didn't realize we were that close!!!! WOOOO HOOOOO!)with cuz that means I only have one more to go and then NCLEX and RN!!!! Can not wait for that day-it will be amazing!
Brad is still at the Huntsman and they are getting ever closer-if they can keep their subs(many have closed doors due to the poor economy). It may be interesting once this job is over cuz we aren't sure if they have another one for him--in the state anyway. So we will have to see, the end of this year may bring about major changes, a real possibility anyway.
The girls are enjoying school and can't wait for summer and warm weather-as can I. We are outside people and really don't care for the cold. Maycee learned to ride her bike without training wheels and she feels so proud! Emma gets to start achievement days at church and she is super excited about that. And Wyatt attempted to climb the tree the other day and loves to ride scooters and tricycles and he says a few words but doesn't find the need to talk yet on a regular basis(I am assuming it is a third child syndrome)
Anyway we are still keeping busy-as I am sure our lives will be for the next many number of years. Pictures will follow next time of birthdays and bikes and ect...
Till next time!

A little break and a birthday
So I am so excited for spring break this semester! It has been an extremely rough semester so far and I need a bit of a break. It has been nice not to have to go to work every weekend and be able to feel like I am not totally drowning under everything I have to do and no time to do it. I am half way done with the semester now and it is getting so close to being totally done that I am WAY excited!
In other news, Maycee turned 6! I can't believe that she is 6 years old already--time flies! We had a family dinner for her birthday and she took treats to her class and got to pick a place to go to lunch on her birthday and of course we ended up at McDonalds. She is growing up to be such a beautiful young lady and we love her lots.
