Well I should have known...

I am not on bed rest strictly speaking, but my BP is on the low end of high and so I am on restricted activity. I have to just take it easy and be able to lie down a lot and let my blood pressure come back to normal throughout the day. As long as it doesn't go any higher and there are no other symptoms that is how it will be for the next 10 weeks. All my blood tests and such were normal so it's just hangin out at home for now. They also gave me some medicine to help with the lovely headaches (a side affect of high blood pressure).

30 Weeks!

I made it 30 weeks! But now my blood pressure won't stay down and so I have to call the doc and see what she thinks. This is farther than I made it before and so I guess I can be thankful for that. So we will see what happens... I am not retaining the water like I have in the past though(so far anyway) and that's a good thing. But the headaches are terrible...stupid blood pressure...why do we even need it in the first place? (Oh ya it's that whole got to stay alive idea) Anyway-Brad insisted on taking a picture of my belly so for your viewing pleasure-here I am!

Easter 2009

Easter this year was fun for the girls (that's how it's suppose to be right?) They got to spend the night in Heber City on Friday with their Grandma and Grandpa and they helped to build the pig pen for the pigs, and they got to ride the horse (with A LOT of coaxing for Maycee. but she did it!) And they got to Hunt Easter Eggs with thier cousin Hadlee


Then they came home and had another Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Spencers, just the two of them and Grandma will probably find eggs in her yard for the next couple of years, because she had about 75 eggs for two kids!!!! But they had fun and the candy doesn't even look like it's been eaten at all, there was so much! They also got their Easter Dresses with Grandpa one day, (what a good guy to take two little girls to the dress party and let them pick out their dresses, because both Mom and Grandma had to work!) They looked darling as always.

Happy Birthday Brad!

Today is Brad's birthday and he would kill me if I told ya'll how old he is so for purposes of this blog-he turned 21, and will turn 21 for the next 40 years! We love him so much and are so greatful he works so hard for our little family. Happy Birthday Brad! We love you!!!!

Birthday Pictures

I finally got the girls pictures taken for their birthdays...and like I said, it's always an adventure into the unknown. Maycee did really good and did just what the photographer told her to do and she even smiled-sort of. But she insisted that she put lipstick on and by the time we got to the picture it was smeared all over her lips so she looks kind of funny.





Emma's were a little better, but I still didn't get a really cute one that I totally love-like I usually do with her. She kept doing these weird smiles. Oh well--they are still cute!

Happy Birthday Emma!

Emma turned six years old on the 24th. She got her ears pierced and lots of other fun stuff. We again had the fam over for dinner on Sunday, it turns out to be about everyother week until the middle of April!
