So sorry but the camera was forgotten for our July 4th activities. But we did celebrate! The traditional breakfast at IHOP before the Centerville parade, sitting in the heat watching the parade, and getting more than enough candy to last a lifetime were all included. Seriously--it's as bad as halloween. Wyatt enjoyed the parade this year as it was his first(that he can remember anyway, he went when he was two weeks old but pretty much slept through it). He is not a fan of the big balooga horns on the old cars but thoroughly enjoyed waving back at everyone and now as he rides up and down the sidewalk he waves at everyone and everything he passes, it's very cute! The kids decorated their bikes and rode in the childrens parade for their popcycle and even Wyatt made it about 2 blocks before he was done on his wiggle car!
The girls are doing swim lessons again this summer with Heather (THANKS A TON!) She is such a good teacher and the girls absolutely love her! Emma should have been born a fish, she could spend all day, everyday in the pool. And she's getting to be pretty good at the actual swimming part too. I told her she needs to become real good and win lots of gold medals and make me lots of money! Maycee on the other hand--is too stubborn. She loves to play in the water but anything to do with actual learning to swim is another story!
I had Wyatt screened for his language delay and they said he qualifies for early intervention which is a program with the state health department where they come to your home and work with him in his areas of need. So I am glad that maybe we can get him talking. It starts the end of the month, so we'll see how that goes. They do it in the home until he's three and then if he still needs help he moves to the school district program.
I also got my very last semester schedule for the nursing program. I got it all written down in the planner and then sighed because that overwhelming feeling is returning once again...Just got to make it through Decemeber and I will be done! It has been a journey...one more leg to go!
That about does it for us...till next time!
