Seriously Awesome!
Next up...baby to be born! She will probably arrive just after the first of the year, and I can't wait to meet her, and honestly to not be pregnant again. This is it for us and I feel so good about that. I don't want to be pregnant anymore, I am done with this stage of my life, it feels right this time. I can't wait to have my body back!!
We've had a few significant things happen this fall other than school. First the wind storm that blew through South Davis County about 3 weeks ago tore our yard and roof apart. So we have been trying to get all that squared away with insurance to get it all replaced before we are covered in snow and they are roofing as I type. It'll be nice to have it done. Then we have to replace our fence that was completely destroyed. And I can't wait for that to happen cause while I love our neighbors I like my privacy and no fence is killing me (that and the fact that the dog has to be chained up and he doesn't like it and does all he can to completely annoy me)
Well thats about all for now. We send our wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a safe New Year! If I remember right the beginning of this year I wrote it was going to be big, It turned out pretty big alright! Bring on 2012! Its going to be amazing! I can feel it!!

School is back in session
It doesn't seem like it should be time to start school again, but alas it is and both Emma and Maycee are in school for a full day, 3rd grade and 1st grade. They were ready to go this morning in their new clothes and shoes!
They rode the bus and then I met them over at the school and got them each to their new class rooms. They were nervous and excited. It's such a great time of year for them! They are awesome girls and they'll have a great year!
Wyatt was pretty upset when he learned that he was not staying with them and big tears were present. He is really going to miss them this year!
The two of us went and bought books for my last semester of nursing school!!! I can already feel the stress setting in...in the form of cold sores! YUK!!!! Just got to make it to December 15th!
Here we go again...!

A Day at the Lake
Emma is our resident fish...she LOVES the water!
And Maycee didn't do too bad...she loved to play in it too
But this is more her thing!
Wyatt wanted to ride the waverunners sooooo bad, he was so mad when he couldn't!
Emma got Grandpa and Uncle Trevor to throw her out of the water and she ended up doing a little flip
It was way fun and we definately need to do more of it!

Weekend camping trip
Brad and I decided to take the kids camping and we invited his parents to come with us. We went up by Stawberry Reservior to a spot called Renegade. We laughed as we pitched the tents cuz Bob had this old tent he said he got when he was just out of high school, they dearly named The Legend. It had a big hole in the bottom for his pole when he went ice fishing and a big hole in the side from an apparent fire when ice fishing. Greg, Colby and Nathan got to be the sleepers in the legend, well for half a night. The next morning I get out of our tent and Greg is on the ground next to another tent a few feet away from his own and Nathan is in his sleeping bag under the tables next to the fire pit, both with many complaints about the noisy sleeping partner still left in the tent. Wyatt was the best helper in setting up the tents, mostly because it required the use of a hammer!
Brad, his dad and brothers all took their pontoon boats for fishing but it seemed that everytime they tried to go out it got really windy and the lake was too choppy. Brad took the girls fishing off the shore and they rode the wheelers and explored the mountain area we were at, colored pictures and played with their dolls.
Wyatt did pretty good. The first night(his first ever not sleeping in his crib)he didn't want much with sleep. He didn't cry but he was all over the place, and maybe slept for a total of 3 hours. The second night he did better and fell asleep pretty fast, couldn't have anything to do with the fabulous nights sleep the night before. But then he woke up in the middle of the night and decided that his sisters were great targets sleeping next to him. He would say, "sis eyes" and proceed to poke them in the eyes and once when I thought he was asleep I turned out the light and then could hear the rustle of his bag and turned the flashlight back on and he was halfway across the top of the tent on his way to Emma. He is a Hyde and therefore-not the least bit quiet and wanted to know where everyone was in the pitch black. Hopefully the other campers didn't mind the little toddler voice asking where Daddy was sis were all night long.
It was a good trip and the kids had fun...I think I'll still take a stay in a hotel over camping...
Fishing and crawdad catching
All loaded and ready to head home
Waiting for everyone else to wake up
Greg and his fiance McKenna
Fixing dinner--Diana did an awesome job with the food--it was delish!

It's finally done! (well almost)
My office is finally done, almost. Brad has a few odds and ends to finish but I think it looks so much better!
Before
After
Wyatt LOVES to help. He would get his drill and work on his "tool bench" while Brad worked on the room. They were so cute but this is as good a picture as they would let me get! (Notice the tape on Wyatts pocket, he has to wear it there, just like Dad)

He's a WHITE boy!
Emma's First friends sleep over
Emma wanted to have a friends sleepover so she made these invitations and ran them to her friends house and then planned it all. They played Thursday night and watched movies with popcorn and slept in the basement. Then Friday morning they had pancakes and eggs and picnic'd on the front lawn. Then they swam in the backyard for a good portion of the afternoon. Her and Maycee have some cute little girlfriends in the neighborhood. There are always a million kids running from house to house playing.

No pictures
The girls are doing swim lessons again this summer with Heather (THANKS A TON!) She is such a good teacher and the girls absolutely love her! Emma should have been born a fish, she could spend all day, everyday in the pool. And she's getting to be pretty good at the actual swimming part too. I told her she needs to become real good and win lots of gold medals and make me lots of money! Maycee on the other hand--is too stubborn. She loves to play in the water but anything to do with actual learning to swim is another story!
I had Wyatt screened for his language delay and they said he qualifies for early intervention which is a program with the state health department where they come to your home and work with him in his areas of need. So I am glad that maybe we can get him talking. It starts the end of the month, so we'll see how that goes. They do it in the home until he's three and then if he still needs help he moves to the school district program.
I also got my very last semester schedule for the nursing program. I got it all written down in the planner and then sighed because that overwhelming feeling is returning once again...Just got to make it through Decemeber and I will be done! It has been a journey...one more leg to go!
That about does it for us...till next time!

Happy Birthday Wyatt!
My little man turned 2!! I can't believe that he is two years old already. We love him soo much and he is a fabulous addition to our family. We didn't really celebrate on his actual birthday cuz Brad had to work and so we planned a family dinner for the Sunday after which happened to also be father's day. It is always nice to get together with family and visit and catch up...
Wyatts fave things right now are tools. He loves to build things and "help" dad in the garage. He is a VERY curious two year old and is into EVERYTHING! And he's fast so you have to be on your toes with this boy. He still has the most infectious laugh and we love him! Happy Birthday Bubba!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
Tuesday, May 10, 2011
The sweet life...or NOT!
Both of the girls have fabulous colds, and sound like barking seals when they cough and they have nasty noses and then that makes them cough all that much more. Maycee coughs all the time anyway due to her asthma, which by the way, is doing fabulous. We haven't had an incident in quite a while with either of them(knock on wood!)
So anyway--it's still raining today so I gotta figure out what the heck me and wyatt are going to do! Make some cookies, more scrapbook pages(I'm about 5 years behind!), probably play with cars and "little peoples". And listen to Wyatt stand at the window and cry because he can't go outside...we're praying for sun extra hard around here!!!!

Easter 2011
Ok so I know I am a little late posting this but I just finished finals for the semester and now have time. Whatever am I going to do? Oh ya-I have tons of house and yard work and kids to keep me busy!
For Easter this year we had the traditional Spencer Egg hunt and dinner on Saturday. The kids loved hunting eggs and especially all the candy inside!
On Sunday we went to church and skipped out early to head to Heber and spend some time with Brad's family. We had dinner and the kids rode the wheelers and played in the yard. We definitely don't make it up there enough, its beautiful up there!
Well so I have one semester to go and I will be done. But first I am going to enjoy myself some time in the summer sun with my family, it is well deserved believe me! Till next time...

All the men who stood in the circle for the confirmation, Grandpa Spencer, Grandpa Sowell, Brad, Trevor, Grandpa Hyde, Jon, Tim
Then we came back to the house to celebrate Brad's Birthday and Emma's Baptism. Food was yummy and the company was great!
There are 30 candles on that cake, and he blew them all out in one breath! Happy Birthday Brad! We love you so much and are so glad you lead our family! You work so hard to provide for us and we are so greatful!

Another Birthday--it's a busy March around our place
So she got to get out of school for lunch and we all headed to Mcdonald's by choice of the birthday girl. She took donuts for her class and G & G Spencer brought her gifts and she opened the ones from mom and dad on her birthday yesterday. We are having a family dinner/party on Sunday for her so she will get more stuff then, and she told me she is scared and hopes that Grandpa's don't remember to give her bday spanks cuz eight is a lot! She is growing up to be such a beautiful girl with legs that go on forever(runway here we come!)(and of course she's gorgeous, she looks just like me!)
In other news, I am kind of caught up with school-thus the posting on the blog! I am so excited about this whole idea-I actually feel like I have time to breath these days. It is an amazing feeling I have to tell you! So excited to get this semester over (39 days left!! Holy cow-didn't realize we were that close!!!! WOOOO HOOOOO!)with cuz that means I only have one more to go and then NCLEX and RN!!!! Can not wait for that day-it will be amazing!
Brad is still at the Huntsman and they are getting ever closer-if they can keep their subs(many have closed doors due to the poor economy). It may be interesting once this job is over cuz we aren't sure if they have another one for him--in the state anyway. So we will have to see, the end of this year may bring about major changes, a real possibility anyway.
The girls are enjoying school and can't wait for summer and warm weather-as can I. We are outside people and really don't care for the cold. Maycee learned to ride her bike without training wheels and she feels so proud! Emma gets to start achievement days at church and she is super excited about that. And Wyatt attempted to climb the tree the other day and loves to ride scooters and tricycles and he says a few words but doesn't find the need to talk yet on a regular basis(I am assuming it is a third child syndrome)
Anyway we are still keeping busy-as I am sure our lives will be for the next many number of years. Pictures will follow next time of birthdays and bikes and ect...
Till next time!

A little break and a birthday
In other news, Maycee turned 6! I can't believe that she is 6 years old already--time flies! We had a family dinner for her birthday and she took treats to her class and got to pick a place to go to lunch on her birthday and of course we ended up at McDonalds. She is growing up to be such a beautiful young lady and we love her lots.

First week involved, needles and lots of blood
I did my first IV and blood draw yesterday in clinical and well it went ok I guess. I missed the vein of my very good friend going just to the side so my instructor slid it in for me and we were good to go! But I did awesome at the blood draw and was so excited that I got it that I forgot what I was doing and drew a lot, A LOT of blood. It's ok tho-the price of education(as a student nurse anyway). So my friend was the same way and we were taking pictures(i know nurses are a little odd)and so we both had very full vials of blood. Things are back to crazy around our house, dishes are still in the sink from last night, laundry is piled to the ceiling, ect, ect. But everyone is healthy and things are going good.
Some day it will all be back to normal...but till then...we love crazy!

Back to life
We had a fun New Years Eve at mom and dad Spencers with Trevor and JoDee and sweet Alyssa! We played minute to win it games and they were hilarious and fun...thanks guys for putting it together. It was nice to relax after a pretty rough day! The car that we borrowed from Bob and Diana decided to not run all of the sudden so Brad spent all day New Years Eve trying to figure out what was wrong and I think we finally figured it out, the fuel pump. So we ordered a new one, and I am driving put-put till it gets here(put-put, for those who aren't in the know, is the geo metro that my parents bought for Trevor in high school and it is indearingly called put-put, cuz that's all it can do sometimes!) I have an amazing family and don't know what I would do without them!!!
This new year is going to be amazing...I can just feel it!!
